Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance and Accounting team, ensuring seamless operations across all business channels (marketplaces, website, warehouses, etc.)
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing strategic insights to drive business performance.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with external Big 4 agencies for audits, tax compliance, and financial advisory services.
• Manage relationships with legal entities and ensure compliance with all corporate and financial regulations.
• Prepare and present financial statements, monthly/quarterly reports, and performance analyses to the leadership team.
• Optimize cash flow, working capital, and profitability by implementing effective financial strategies.
• Coordinate financial audits, managing relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
• Oversee tax planning, filings, and financial compliance with relevant authorities.
• Implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
• Lead the development and implementation of financial systems and ERP tools to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Experience working at a Big 4 firm, followed by a role in finance at a retail company or similar industry.
• Proven track record of managing finance teams and overseeing complex financial operations.
• Experience working with external auditors and legal entities, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, tax laws, and auditing processes.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software (ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
