Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• CA/CMAs qualification required.
• 35 years of experience in business controlling, financial/functional controlling, and RD controlling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Business Controlling and analytical services with reports.
• Support financial reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and baseline reviews.
• Analyze monthly MIS, benchmark performance, variances, and communicate insights.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, accruals, and tax compliance.
• Review actual vs plan, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
• Lead annual operating plan for engineering/RD center and budget discussions.
• Ensure no revenue loss and recover costs for transfer pricing compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end finance process management and KPI-based steering.
• Drive process improvements via standardization, automation, and eliminating inefficiencies.
• Validate accuracy and integrity of financial data through reconciliations and reviews.
• Oversee financial systems and master data governance and COA maintenance.
• Act as finance business partner to stakeholders, ensuring policy adherence.
• Prepare management presentations and reports with financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Support audits and control reviews as required.
• Contribute ideas to improve automation and accuracy.
• Enhance productivity through automation and information coordination.

The opportunity:

The Finance Business Partner Business Controlling is responsible for providing high-quality Business planning, analysis, reporting, and controlling support to the business. The role ensures accurate financial insights, robust process governance, strong stakeholder partnership, and continuous improvement through standardization and automation, while maintaining full compliance with internal and external regulations.

How youll make an impact:

• Own end-to-end Business Controlling and analytical services, including automated, semi-automated, manual, and ad-hoc reports aligned to business requirements.
• Support financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and baseline reviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Analyse monthly and quarterly MIS, benchmark performance, investigate variances, and communicate insights to management and controllers.
• Manage controlling activities including budgeting, cost control, charging mechanisms, accruals, corrections, and tax-related compliance.
• Review of actual cost performance versus plan, identify deviations, and collaborate with local stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Annual operating plan for the engineering and RD center and independently drive budget discussions with Local Business Managers
• Ensure there are no revenue loss and to make sure all the costs are recovered to maintain the transfer pricing regulations
• Accountable for end-to-end finance process management, performance monitoring, and KPI-based process steering.
• Drive continuous process improvements through standardization, innovation, automation, and elimination of inefficiencies and duplications.
• Validate accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial data through reconciliations, reviews, and exception handling.
• Oversee financial systems and master data governance, including chart of accounts, Business Warehouse tools, project setup, and master data maintenance.
• Act as a finance business partner to key stakeholders, ensuring adherence to process standards, policies, and timelines.
• Prepare management presentations and reports, clearly articulating financial insights and performance drivers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, internal controls, procedures, and applicable external regulations.
• Proactively support audits and control reviews as required.
• Support ad-hoc assignments and evolving responsibilities as the function matures.
• Contribute ideas and expertise to improve accuracy, timeliness, and automation of financial processes.
• Optimize personal and team productivity through automation, coordination of information requirements, and coaching.

Your background:

• Bachelors or masters degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, and CA/CMAs qualification
• 35 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial/Functional Controlling, and RD Controlling, preferably in a multinational or GCC environment
• Strong experience in process management, project controlling, and performance analysis.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred), financial planning reporting tools.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI / automation experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English
• Experience in industrial or GCC environmentspreferred.
