Job summary

Omnicom Global Solutions in Bangalore seeks a Financial Analyst with strong accounting and analytical skills to support business finance teams. You will work closely with Global Agency Finance, handling invoicing, project accounting, and process improvements.

Hybrid work arrangement is offered (3 days in office per week). The role requires experience in accounting operations and advanced Excel, with a proactive, collaborative mindset for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field with 3-5 years of accounting operations experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and capable of quickly learning new accounting software.
• Knowledge of D365 and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, V-lookups, and formulas.
• A proactive team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Raising quotations and client invoices in D365.
• Project control: opening and closure cycle to support proper project accounting.
• Time transfers in D365.
• Run weekly timesheets data to identify submitters.
• Agree freelancer invoices against freelancer tracker and timesheets.
• Be the go-to in the agency for D365 support on expense claims and PO creation.
• Build strong relations with Shared Service Centre to resolve AP issues.
• Assist monitoring the WIP and OOPs.
• Request Carixa & Euler limits to maintain credit insurance coverage.

Role Overview:

OGS India is seeking a Financial Analyst with strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. This might be a great fit if you have a strong flair of analytical and accounting skills and would like to be part of a growing team. You will be closely working with our Global Agency Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Raising quotations and client invoices in D365
• Project control: opening and closure cycle to support proper project accounting.
• Time transfers in D365
• Run weekly timesheets data to establish who has not submitted.
• Agree freelancer invoices against freelance tracker and timesheet submission.
• Become the go to in the agency for D365 support on expense claims & PO creation,
• Build a strong relationship with our Shared Service Centre to resolve AP invoice and expense payment issues.
• Assisting monitoring the WIP and OOPs.
• Request Carixa & Euler limits to maintain appropriate credit insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field with 3-5 years of experience in accounting operations.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new accounting software’s.
• Having Knowledge of D365
• Advanced Excel skills are required including knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookups and conditional formulas.
• Aptitude be proactive, a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment
