Finance Operations Analyst (FP&A)

Job summary

Omnicom Global Solutions India is hiring a Financial Analyst to support business finance teams with FP&A, accounting, and R2R processes. You will work closely with Global Agency Finance teams to forecast, close, and report financial performance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, exposure to US GAAP, and experience with OneStream or ERP tools. Hybrid work arrangement offers 3 days onsite weekly in Hyderabad/Bangalore/Gurgaon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of FP&A operations experience is mandatory.
• Prior experience in R2R processes preferred.
• Proficient in advanced Excel; ability to learn ERP/BI tools quickly.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly forecasting and schedule submission in OneStream.
• Month end activities including OpEx and Intercompany JE preparation, transaction and variance analysis.
• Prepare payroll reconciliation and compensation related JEs.
• Prepare monthly Revenue JEs together with FDs.
• Work closely with SSC reporting partners and ensure timely month-end close support.
• Nonbillable invoice processing and vendor paperwork.
• BOA credit card statement processing, backup collecting, transaction reconciliation and project posting.
• Maintain templates and documentation.
• Provide backup coverage and support training transitions.
• Provide labor tracking and I/C support to Sr. Financial Analyst on Chiat side.

Role Overview:

OGS India is seeking a Financial Analyst with strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. You will be closely working with our Global Agency Finance teams.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 3-5 years of experience in FP&A Operations (mandatory).
2. Having prior experience into R2R processes is (Preferred)
3. Proficient in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn any new ERP or BI Tools
4. Having Good Knowledge of US GAAP.
5. Flexibility to take up different assignments and not limit oneself to specific set of activities
6. Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
7. Flexible and Result Oriented with Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
8. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, MediaOcean, and Hyperion Financial Management tool is a plus
