Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented financial analyst to join the GBFS team. The role covers FP&A, Opex, reporting and system updates, with responsibilities to deliver accurate financial packages and support budgeting and monthly close.

You will work with global teams, present financial information to non-financial audiences, and drive automation of finance processes via AI and other tools, with late-evening calls for reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in FP&A.
• Master’s in finance or CA/CMA is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Willingness to work late for global reviews.

About GBFS Team: The Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team provide support to HQ and global regional team on Finance & Business Operation activities. This job role required to support and manage finance related activities – FP&A, Opex and reporting & System updates etc.

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and focused-minded financial analyst to join our finance team. The financial analyst's responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely deliverables of financial packages and reports, financial system updates, assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes and performing research and analysis as may be required by stakeholders. You will be required to take late-evening calls for reviews and transition of activities based on the supporting region.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely deliverables of (transactional and analytics) financial packages and reporting.
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Understanding key business drivers.
• Assisting global teams with financial guidance.
• Performing research and analysis as required.
• Updating Financial system with the latest data.
• Work closely with global region teams with regular interaction to reviews, drive transition calls, process documentation for all activities.
• Engage in driving automation of finance process via AI and other possible automations to bring efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Requirements

• Master’s in finance from reputed B-school (MBA / M. Com) or Qualified CA/CMA.
• 4+ years of experience in Finance FP&A.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, Oracle, or related financial systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review process and support team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and upskill with tools – Tableau, Power BI, AI, etc.
• Flexible for late-evening calls for reviews and transition calls on a regular basis with global teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ year of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
• Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
