Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce plus CA qualification with 2–3 years of experience in Big 6 firms or the Agri sector.
• Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Principles, AS, Statutory compliance.
• Experience with Tally and Zoho is preferable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Job brief

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and streamline our entire accounting process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring sales and purchase transactions, managing accounts payables and receivables, handling taxation and licensing, and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements and supporting financial reporting and audit. This role requires close coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders, timely preparation of financial statements, and effective management of monthly book closures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including monitoring collection days, customer-wise deductions, outstanding receivables, and overdue amounts.
• Review and monitor tasks performed by team members, including payments, invoicing, accounting entries, data updates, and master data maintenance, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Prepare and analyse key financial and management reports, including AR deduction reports, business-line profitability reports, inventory reports, and accounts payable reports.
• Drive automation, process improvements, and standardisation across accounting workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Execute and review month-end closing activities, including preparation and review of the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Working Capital and Cash Flow statements.
• Handle ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of finance-related matters.
• Liaise with statutory and external auditors, coordinate audit requirements, and ensure timely resolution of audit queries and submission of supporting documentation within stipulated timelines.
• Ensure compliance across all payment processes, including adherence to internal controls, approval workflows.
• Maintain and continuously strengthen financial controls and accounting processes across the organisation, identifying control gaps and implementing appropriate corrective measures.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelors degree in Commerce + CA (Qualified) with 2–3 years of experience in Big 6 firms or the Agri sector.
