Job summary

IPLIX Media is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager in Delhi to lead accounting, taxation, and compliance functions. You will oversee monthly closings, GL reconciliations and statutory filings while managing a team across AP, AR, banking and compliance.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with 5–6 years post-qualification experience and strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax and Indian accounting standards. This role demands leadership and process improvement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 5-6 years post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation and compliance.
• Minimum 2 years team-handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and Indian accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
• Experience with Zoho Books, Tally.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely monthly closing.
• Manage general ledger, bank, vendor, customer, inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, prepaid and fixed asset entries.
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, ROC and labour laws.
• Manage end-to-end GST reconciliations, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and books.
• Oversee TDS computation, payments, returns and reconciliation with 26AS/AIS/TRACES.
• Support advance tax, income tax returns, tax audits and other applicable tax compliances.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal and tax auditors and ensure timely submission of required documents.
• Handle tax notices and coordinate with relevant authorities, wherever required.
• Lead, mentor and manage the finance team across AP, AR, Banking and Compliance.
• Ensure adherence to month-end closing timelines and statutory deadlines.
• Strengthen internal controls, SOPs and finance processes.
• Drive automation and process improvements across accounting, reconciliation and reporting workflows.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on finance-related requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and other finance projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead our accounting, taxation and compliance functions. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, monthly closures, statutory compliances, audits and managing a team across AP, AR, banking and compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting, along with proven team-management and process-improvement skills.

Requirements -

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a team-handling role.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and accounting principles/Indian Accounting Standards.
• Working knowledge of PF, ESI, ROC and labour law compliances.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF and other advanced formulas.
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, ownership and ability to work independently.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Good To have -

• Experience handling GST/Income Tax assessments, notices and appeals.
• Exposure to ERP, automation tools, Excel Macros, Google Sheets/Apps Script or MIS dashboards.
• Experience in a service, media or fast-growing business environment.
