Job summary

Angel and Genie in Bengaluru invites a detail-focused finance associate to manage end-to-end accounting processes, including client invoices, licenses, and recurring subscriptions, with accurate ledgers and timely closings.

You will reconcile bank statements, prepare tax returns, support audits with documentation, coordinate with clients for information, and maintain exports using Tally ERP software, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process client invoices, software licenses, and recurring subscriptions.
• Maintain accurate records of exports using Tally ERP software.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation and information.
• Apprehend closing journals (accruals, prepayments, provisions, payroll) and ensure backups are complete.
• Assist in closing reconciling items by identifying root causes and liaising with other finance functions for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain information for document preparation.
