Job summary

DBS Bank (Indonesia) is seeking a Test Engineer to perform SIT across Finacle Core Banking and related services in Hyderabad. You will design and execute manual and automated test cases, focusing on onboarding, deposits, loans, payments, and channel integrations.

Qualifications

In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) by validating end-to-end banking business processes across Finacle Core Banking and integrated applications/services
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure functional accuracy, system stability, regression coverage, and compliance with banking requirements
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and automation frameworks to validate REST services, request/response payloads, authentication, error handling, and Finacle integration interfaces
• Validate core banking functionalities including Customer Onboarding, CASA, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Funds Transfer, Transaction Processing, and Channel Integrations within Finacle ecosystems
• Identify, analyze, and track defects, working closely with development, business, and Finacle support teams to ensure timely resolution and quality deliverables
• Analyze application, middleware, and Finacle logs to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support defect resolution
• Support CI/CD and release activities through automated testing, test reporting, and continuous quality assurance to improve application reliability and release readiness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 Yrs to 10 Yrs of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Manual Testing and Automation Testing experience
• Strong understanding of Finacle Core Banking concepts, banking products, and transaction life cycles
• Experience in testing CASA, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Funds Transfer, Customer Management, and Teller Operations in Finacle
• Jira for Defect and Test Management.
• Programming knowledge in Java / TypeScript / JavaScript
• Cucumber BDD
• Web Automation using Playwright / Selenium
• Experience analyzing API code bases and logs
• API Testing using Postman / Rest assured and REST-based services
• Kibana logs for analyzing failures and production issues
• Jenkins pipeline and CI/CD execution
