Job Description

The overall site in‑charge will manage, guide and provide engineering and administrative expertise to ensure smooth operations of plants having integrated technologies relevant to the site (e.g. Biological, MBR, PUF, RO, Ion exchange, ZLD etc.) by meeting set KPIs in accordance with the agreement with customers. The role requires regular interactions with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous availability of all plant equipment at all times. The in‑charge will lead the O&M team and ensure compliance in all respects.

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations

• Drive a safe work culture at site and ensure zero LTI.
• Efficiently execute O&M as per customer contract.
• Maintain service excellence as per Veolia standards.
• Manage stakeholders: customers, vendors, and internal team.
• Handle team and develop people.
• Report plant operations at defined frequencies (Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually).
• Exercise financial acumen: execute O&M within budget, track spend vs budget, generate value through cost‑saving ideas.
• Consistently work on optimizing the cost of services.
• Obtain positive service feedback from customers (high NPS score).
• Manage inventory at site and follow up with customers/vendors/stakeholders on spare and consumable availability.
• Adhere to Veolia ethics and compliance.
• Ensure 100% plant availability by maintaining healthy equipment status, following PM schedules, corrective maintenance, and business‑development maintenance.
• Use Veolia digital tools for reporting and ensure timely creation, submission of invoices and payment collections.
• Adhere to HR compliance documents and audit requirements.
• Collect, develop, manage and maintain all relevant plant and equipment documentation.
• Comply with all EHS regulations and procedures (RA, SOPs, Veolia frameworks, etc.).
• Maintain flexibility in working hours depending on site requirements.
• Responsible for customer contract renewals through service excellence.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mesical/Electrical) with relevant experience.

• Skills in writing SOPs, RA and preparing management reports.
• Strong time management, planning and teamwork.
