Job summary

Moog is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Moog control products at customer locations across India. You will program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and GUI screens, and work with brands like Allen Bradley, Siemens, and others.

The role requires travel across India, reading electrical circuits, and drafting drawings using AutoCAD/Visio/E-Plan.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of progressive field service experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
• Ability to read electrical circuits and panel designs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Visio/E-Plan advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, assembly/maintenance, and repair of Moog Electro-Hydraulic, Electro-Mechanical, and other Control Products/Systems/Solutions at customer locations
• Hands-on experience in programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and Graphic User Interface screens.
• Familiarity with brands such as Moog, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, B&R, Beckhoff, Omron, Delta, etc.
• Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus/Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Fieldbus interfaces
• Experience in reading electrical circuit and panel design is necessary
• Drafting Electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and E-Plan will be added advantage
• Knowledge in handling electrical equipment’s (e.g., Megger, Oscilloscope, etc.) for diagnostic purposes
• Support customers when they encounter problems via telephone and on-site visits.
• Execute AMCs, I&C & Service visits.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout India for customer support and project assignments.

Qualifications

Education/degree

• B.E., / Diploma / NTTF in Instrumentation & Controls / Electronics / Mechatronics

Work experience

• 2-4 years of progressive experience

• Any software coding skill will be added advantage
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Well-organized and focused, with solid analytical & problem-solving skills.
