Job summary

Moog Motion Controls Private Limited invites applications for a Field Service Engineer based in Bangalore. You will provide on-site and field support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Moog control products.

The role requires hands-on PLC/HMI programming, wiring diagrams, and the ability to travel across India for customer assignments. Proficiency with AutoCAD/Visio/E-Plan is a plus; be ready to work independently and deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of progressive experience in field service or similar
• BE/Diploma/NTTF in Instrumentation & Controls / Electronics / Mechatronics
• Willingness to travel extensively across India
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and HMIs is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance at customer locations
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and GUI screens
• Read electrical circuits and panel designs; draft wiring diagrams as needed
• Draft electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and E-Plan
• Travel extensively across India for customer support and project assignments

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Reporting To: Manager I, Engineer

Work Schedule: Onsite – Bangalore, IN

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, assembly/maintenance, and repair of Moog Electro-Hydraulic, Electro-Mechanical, and other Control Products/Systems/Solutions at customer locations
• Hands-on experience in programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and Graphic User Interface screens.
• Familiarity of working with brands such as Moong, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, B&R, Beckhoff, Omron, Delta, etc. Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus/Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Fieldbus interfaces
• Experience in reading electrical circuit and panel design is necessary
• Drafting Electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and E-Plan will be added advantage
• Knowledge in handling electrical equipment’s (e.g., Megger, Oscilloscope, etc.) for diagnostic purposes
• Support customers when they encounter problems via telephone and on-site visits.
• Execute AMCs, I &C & Service visits.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout India for customer support and project assignments.

Qualifications: Education/degree

• B.E., / Diploma / NTTF in Instrumentation & Controls / Electronics / Mechatronics
• Work experience
• 2-4 years of progressive experience
