Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Field Service Executive for our Infra Department in Bangalore. Your role centers on safe and reliable maintenance of elevator and escalator units, ensuring high service standards and customer satisfaction.

You will operate within your territory, perform scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and execute repairs. The position demands strong electrical knowledge, clear communication, and a proactive, safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 3–5 years in Elevator service/maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety must be the priority in all tasks.
• Ability to work alone or in a team and handle electrical aspects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of elevator/escalator maintenance and service visits within the territory.
• Manage the defined geographic area and portfolio of units.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and aim for first-time fix.
• Carry out minor and major repairs to keep operations running.
• Liaise with customers on site to build strong working relationships.

Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the Elevator/Escalator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of Elevators/Escalators within it
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix
• Carry out minor and major repairs to achieve continual operation
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Diploma/BE in Engineering
• 3-5 years in handling service in Elevator industry
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
• Assertive, Proactive, Result orientated and Self-started
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
• You are comfortable communicating to others
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
