Job summary

Urban Farms Co. is seeking Field Executive – Network Farming Operations to support farmer onboarding, field operations, farmer engagement, and regenerative agriculture practices across assigned regions.

The role requires a graduate in Agricultural Sciences with 0–2 years of experience in farming or field operations, good communication in English/Hindi/local language, and a valid two-wheeler license for field visits.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Agricultural Sciences.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in farming, agriculture field operations or contract farming.
• Freshers with a strong interest in regenerative agriculture and field operations will be considered.
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi and the local language.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office / computer applications.
• Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is mandatory for farmer field visits.

Responsibilities

• Drive farmer onboarding, network expansion and farmer engagement in the assigned region.
• Conduct farmer meetings to educate farmers on regenerative agriculture practices and their benefits.
• Promote organic, regenerative and pesticide-free farming practices.
• Manage day-to-day field operations with network farmers.
• Conduct regular farmer field visits, ensure adherence to quality standards, and resolve farmer queries and grievances.
• Coordinate with CoE and Planning teams on pest control, quality and yield improvement, harvesting and procurement requirements.
• Follow the PoP through Regen Saathi (AI-based app), including crop guidance, crop cycling and activity updates as advised by the CoE team.
• Monitor plantation, crop growth, farming activities and compost application as per schedules and recommendations in the Regen Saathi app.
• Maintain accurate and timely farmer, crop and field-visit records in the app.
• Ensure timely reporting and escalation of field-level issues to the concerned teams.
