Responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day activities of the car assembly line.
• Ensure production targets (quantity, quality, timelines) are achieved.
• Monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks.
• Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machines, and materials.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of assembly line operators.
• Assign tasks based on skill levels and production needs.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a safe working culture.
• Take feedback from all team members and solve accordingly.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure PPE compliance.
• Conduct regular safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain daily production and performance reports.
• Track KPIs such as output, efficiency, rejection rate, and downtime.
• Report issues and improvement suggestions to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen initiatives & Quality Circle
