Job summary

Aviagen in India is seeking a Supervisor for the Feed Mill to oversee production, maintain cleanliness, and manage stock and inventory. The role requires coordinating with the laboratory for feed samples and ensuring strict safety and biosecurity compliance.

The successful candidate will lead a team, document processes, and support ongoing maintenance activities while delivering feed to farms on schedule and adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising mill operations and teams.
• Ability to enforce safety, biosecurity, and process standards.
• Proficient in documentation and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document feed indents from farms.
• Assist in feed production processes.
• Deliver feed on time per indents.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Manage mill staff and coordinate with lab for samples.
• Maintain stock and assist stock verification.
• Ensure mill safety and biosecurity compliance.
• Complete weekly plant fumigation.
• Handle documentation (hard & soft copies).
• Coordinate with lab for mill monitoring.
• Support inventory of all materials.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description Summary:

Aviagen is hiring Supervisor for Feed Mill. This position will be responsible for feed production, maintaining the mill clean, stock and inventory maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and document the feed indents from farms
• Assisting in feed production process
• Delivering feed on time to the farms as per the indents
• All kind of documentation works (Hard & soft copies)
• Performs required routine and preventive maintenance activities
• Good People management
• Coordinating with Laboratory for feed sample and mill monitoring
• Responsible to support the inventory of all materials.
• Responsible for stock maintenance and assisting in stock verification
• Practising Safety standards of the mill
• Ensuring the safety of the mill employees
• Complying with Biosecurity and other Company Policies
• Complete weekly Plant fumigation
• May perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
