Job summary

Reinvent Apparels Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Fashion Textile Designer to craft school uniform textiles and garment concepts from ideation to production. You will create prints, patterns, color palettes, and fabric layouts aligned with client needs, heritage themes, and brand guidelines.

Collaborating with design, production, and sales teams, you will prepare tech packs, select fabrics and trims, and ensure durability and climatic comfort while supporting sampling and prototyping

Role Description

As a Fashion Textile Designer at Reinvent Apparels, you will design and develop school uniform textiles and garment concepts from initial ideation through to final production. You will create prints, patterns, color palettes, and fabric layouts that align with client requirements, cultural themes, and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with design, production, and sales teams, preparing technical specifications, selecting suitable fabrics and trims, and ensuring designs meet performance criteria such as durability and climatic comfort. You will also support sampling, review prototypes, and refine designs based on feedback to maintain quality and consistency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in fashion and textile design, including print and pattern development, color theory, and fabric selection.
• Candidates should possess skills in technical detailing, preparing tech packs, and working with garment construction and finishing standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in CAD or design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, textile design tools) for professional digital design and layout.
• Candidates should possess skills in research, trend analysis, and interpreting cultural, heritage, and institutional themes into design concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in communication and collaboration, including the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field are preferred.
• Experience in uniform design, kidswear, or functional apparel design, and knowledge of fabric performance for different climates, will be an added advantage.
