Valkyre Clothing invites an in-office 6-month fashion design internship in Mumbai. You’ll sketch and develop design concepts for hand-painted denim jackets, jeans, hoodies and more, turning client briefs into mockups using Procreate, Illustrator or hand sketches.

You’ll brief artisans and ensure timely delivery while maintaining style integrity. You’ll research trends, keep design files organized, assist with product shoots, and prepare visuals for the website and social media.

Qualificações

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in fashion design, textile design or fine arts.
• Strong sketching skills with a portfolio showing illustration or hand-painting work.
• Familiarity with Procreate, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Understanding of garment construction, fabrics and denim is a plus.
• Comfortable talking to clients and managing several custom orders at once.
• Interest in streetwear, wearable art and contemporary Indian design.

Responsabilidades

• Researching trends, art styles and references for new drops and mood boards
• Keeping design files, order trackers and spec sheets organised and up to date
• Helping with product shoots, styling, and preparing visuals for the website and social media

About the internship:

1. Sketching and developing design concepts for hand-painted denim jackets, jeans, hoodies and other pieces, for both collections and custom orders
2. Turning client briefs (wedding jackets, personalised pieces) into mockups and design options using Procreate, Illustrator or hand sketches
3. Taking part in client design consultations and noting their preferences, references and sizing

Additional information:

• Stipend Structure:
• Fixed pay: ₹ 8,000 - 12,000 /month
• Incentive pay: ₹ 10,000 - 15,000 /month
• Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of ₹ 240000 to 360000/year
