Job summary

Walkstalk, a designer-led startup focused on women designer sneakers, invites an in-office social media intern in Gurgaon to join the team for 3 months. You will create Instagram content, edit reels, and design visuals using Canva, CapCut, VN, and InShot, while planning weekly posts aligned with campaigns and launches.

You will track basic engagement metrics, stay on top of trends, and help storytelling of the brand.

Qualifications

• A creative individual with strong interest in social media, fashion, lifestyle, and digital content.
• Ability to understand Instagram trends and what makes users stop scrolling.
• Basic to intermediate video editing and social media design skills.
• Familiar with Canva, CapCut, VN, InShot or similar tools.
• Portfolio of reels, edits, designs, or personal projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Content Creation: Create engaging Instagram posts, carousels, stories, and other social media creatives.
• Reels & Video Editing: Shoot and edit short-form videos, product reels, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-based videos.
• Creative Design: Use tools such as Canva, CapCut, VN, InShot, or similar platforms to create visually appealing content.
• Content Planning: Assist in preparing weekly content calendars and organising content ideas around brand campaigns, launches, festivals, and celebrations.
• Trend Research: Stay updated with trending audio, reels, formats, and social media trends relevant to our target audience.
• Brand Storytelling: Help communicate Walkstalk's personality, product features, styling ideas, and customer stories through creative content.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor basic engagement metrics such as reach, views, shares, saves, and follower growth to understand what works.
• Creative Experimentation: Bring fresh ideas, take initiative, and experiment with new formats to improve the brand's social media presence.
