Job summary

Can Image Media Tech is seeking a seasoned Factory Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing, production planning, and plant efficiency across multiple sites in Vasai and Silvassa. You will optimize capacity, manage large teams, and drive cost controls while ensuring quality and compliance.

The role requires 15+ years in manufacturing, leadership of 200+ employees, and a strong background in production or coating.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Production / Factory Operations.
• Experience managing 200+ employees and large-scale production operations.
• Industry experience strictly in Manufacturing, Production, or Coating.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• MBA / Operations Management qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day factory and production operations.
• Drive production planning, productivity, capacity utilization, and timely order execution.
• Manage manpower, machinery, raw materials, inventory, and production resources.
• Ensure quality standards, reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage.
• Coordinate maintenance and minimize machine downtime.
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure safety, statutory, Factory Act, Pollution Control, ISO/GMP and other compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvement, automation, MIS, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, HR, and Operations teams.
• Monitor key KPIs including production output, productivity, downtime, quality, wastage, inventory, and cost.
• Support the setup and operationalization of the new Silvassa manufacturing plant.

Location: Vasai, Maharashtra ( Initial few months) then Silvassa (New Plant)

Reporting To: Promoter/ MD

Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Production / Factory Operations.
• Age below 50 years.
• Experience managing 200+ employees and large-scale production operations.
• Experience handling multiple plants / units preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in the latest organization preferred.
• Industry experience strictly in Manufacturing, Production, or Coating.
• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• MBA / Operations Management qualification will be an added advantage.
