Vihan Modular in Vasai, Maharashtra seeks a seasoned Factory Head – Electrical (Switches) to own manufacturing operations, oversee in-house and partner factories, and ensure quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in production management, strong leadership, and hands-on with Lean/Six Sigma.

You will drive schedules, procurement, tooling, and compliance, reporting KPIs to the Managing Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production management in electrical goods or injection moulding.
• Experience leading 100–200 workers through contractors and supervisors.
• Proficient in Excel/ERP for planning and reporting.
• Hands-on leadership with problem-solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or productivity frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead all production operations across in-house and outsourced units.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Oversee procurement, inventory control, and dispatch to partner factories.
• Manage tooling, moulding, assembly, and packaging processes.
• Track production performance using data-driven tools and report KPIs.
• Drive process optimization, quality improvement, and cost control.
• Implement Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma to minimize waste.
• Coordinate with vendors, logistics, and design teams to meet timelines.
• Maintain plant safety and equipment maintenance.

Salary Range: ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,50,000 per month

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and hands‑on Factory Head to take complete ownership of our manufacturing operations for electrical switches and related components. The role involves managing in‑house production as well as coordinating with nearby partner factories, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery across all production activities.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with deep technical knowledge, a structured mindset, and the ability to bring systems and discipline to a fast‑growing, design‑led manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all production operations across in‑house and outsourced manufacturing units.
• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with sales and dispatch targets.
• Oversee raw material procurement, inventory control, and dispatch to partner factories.
• Manage tooling, moulding, assembly, and packaging processes to ensure smooth workflow.
• Track production performance using data‑driven tools (ERP, Excel, dashboards) and present regular reports to management.
• Drive process optimization, quality improvement, and cost control initiatives.
• Implement Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma practices to minimize waste and improve output consistency.
• Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners, and design teams to ensure material and production timelines are met.
• Maintain plant safety, equipment maintenance, and compliance with operational standards.
• Lead and mentor contract‑based supervisors and labour teams through structured systems and accountability.
• Report directly to the Managing Director (CEO) on production KPIs, bottlenecks, and continuous improvement actions.

Desired Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production management, preferably in electrical goods, modular switches, or injection moulding.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, tooling, materials, and assembly processes.
• Proven ability to manage 100–200 workers through contractors and supervisors.
• Proficient in Excel/ERP tools for planning and reporting.
• Practical, hands‑on leadership style with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or productivity improvement frameworks preferred.

• Reporting to: Managing Director
• Compensation: ₹1–2.5 lakh per month (depending on experience)
