Job summary

Vinsak Pvt Ltd in Navi Mumbai seeks a skilled Facility Technician to ensure smooth operation of plant utilities and infrastructure. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read engineering drawings, and coordinate with external vendors.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or ITI in Electrical with 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, and can troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical.
• 3–5 years of hands-on facility or utility maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• PWD Electrical/Wireman license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of plant utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DG sets, compressors, pumps, motors, transformers, electrical panels, UPS, HVAC, lifts, plumbing, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Maintain utility logs, checklists, maintenance records, and spare inventory.
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors for repair and maintenance activities.
• Raise purchase requisitions and ensure availability of spares and consumables.

Responsible for ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of plant utilities and facility infrastructure through preventive and corrective maintenance, timely troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and effective monitoring of utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of plant utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DG sets, compressors, pumps, motors, transformers, electrical panels, UPS, HVAC, lifts, plumbing, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor electrical, diesel, water, compressed air, and other utility consumption and identify energy‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain utility logs, checklists, maintenance records, and spare inventory.
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors/service providers for repair and maintenance activities.
• Raise purchase requisitions and ensure availability of required maintenance spares and consumables.

Qualifications

Diploma or ITI in Electrical

Experience

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in facility or utility maintenance.
• Previous experience as an apprentice under a licensed electrician, plumber, or HVAC technician is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, generator, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and facility‑related issues effectively.
• Ability to respond quickly to unexpected equipment or facility malfunctions.
  • PWD Electrical/Wireman license is desirable.

Facility Technician is based in Navi Mumbai.
