Vskills in Bengaluru is seeking a Facility Manager Technical to oversee all facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety systems. You will manage vendor contracts, develop preventive maintenance programs, and lead a team of facilities professionals to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive facilities management experience in commercial real estate or corporate environments.
  • Experience managing building operations, maintenance programs, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost control measures.
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for maintenance projects, renovations, and system upgrades.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and financial reporting while identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and client standards.
  • Coordinate space planning, moves, and renovation projects in partnership with project management teams.
  • Respond to emergency situations and implement business continuity plans to protect people and assets.
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication, service reviews, and strategic consultation on facility‑related initiatives.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or equivalent credentials
  • Experience managing facilities for Fortune 500 companies or large corporates
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and experience implementing green building initiatives
  • Project management experience including capital improvement projects and tenant build‑outs
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and risk management principles
  • Experience with integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) and building analytics platforms
