Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hyderabad, India, seeks an Engineering Executive to oversee preventive maintenance programs and energy conservation across client facilities. You will assist the Chief Engineer and Dy.

Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope, procurement, and service delivery to meet quality targets. This role requires tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical, strong people skills, and knowledge of safety standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical essential.
• Very Good people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements.
• Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems.

Responsibilities

• Achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs and energy conservation.
• Assist the Chief Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of projects to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
• Assist in providing facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client.
• Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and Service Level Agreements targets.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for M&E installations.
• Manage downtime/breakdowns and coordinating ad-hoc M&E setups as needed.

Engineering Executive

What this job involves

• To achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at (Client) with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices.
• Assist the Chief Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated time.
• Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client.
• Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets.

Property Operations

• Support the Chief Engineer / Dy. Chief Engineer in managing the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility.
• Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams.
• Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment.
• Assist the Chief Engineer to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations.
• Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns.
• Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time.
• Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client.
• Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises.
• Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters.

Reporting

• Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Chief Engineer;
• Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipments;
• Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables;
• Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports
