Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer in Mumbai to monitor and maintain technical systems, including electrical, HVAC, fire safety, elevators, and plumbing. The role involves routine inspections, coordination with vendors, and rapid response to emergencies.

You will track KPIs, maintain records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support energy management initiatives to optimize costs while working with the property teams and landlords.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain all technical systems including electrical systems (HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS), HVAC systems, fire & life safety systems, elevators and escalators, plumbing and water management, and Building Management System (BMS).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimum system performance.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, landlords, and project teams for maintenance activities and issue resolution.
• Respond to technical breakdowns, emergencies, and critical incidents, ensuring timely restoration of services.
• Track and monitor maintenance KPIs, equipment downtime, and service requests.
• Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, service reports, and statutory compliance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support energy management initiatives and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Manage inventory of technical spares and consumables through CMMS/Corrigo or similar systems.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, EHS inspections, and emergency response drills.
• Prepare technical reports, incident reports, and management updates.
