Job summary

JLL in Gurugram is seeking a Facility Engineer / Facility Executive to manage day-to-day operations of a large corporate building. The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation, with a focus on reliability and occupant comfort.

You will lead preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, oversee projects, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards while guiding a small engineering team.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on renovations and installations.
• Plan and manage project budgets, timelines and quality standards to minimize disruption.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.

Urgent Requirement

Job Location: Sector 75, Gurugram Designation: Facility Engineer / Facility Executive Technical Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering or B.Tech Graduate Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Shift Timings: 24*7 Shifts Work Schedule: 6 Days/week

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building automation systems.
• Ensure all mechanical and electrical systems function optimally with minimal downtime.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement efficiency improvements.

Maintenance & Asset Management

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for all building equipment and systems.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Track asset lifecycle and recommend capital improvements or replacements.

Project Management

• Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, renovations, and installations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Ensure minimal disruption to building operations during project execution.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Maintain required certifications and inspection schedules.
• Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Team Leadership

• Supervise engineering and maintenance staff or coordinate with service providers.
• Provide technical guidance and training.
• Develop performance metrics and conduct evaluations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Budget & Financial Management

• Prepare and manage facility operations budgets.
• Control costs while maintaining service quality.
• Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide financial reports and forecasts to management.
