Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. is seeking an on-site Facilities Manager in Bengaluru to oversee vendor management, safety compliance, and maintenance operations. The role requires coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient, compliant facilities management and cost control.

You will manage budgets, asset inventories, and emergency response activities while driving improvements in energy use and operational reliability at the Bengaluru site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage external vendors and suppliers.
• Source, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, monitor performance, and optimize vendor relationships.

• Track expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget and cost-effective operations.
• Maintain inventory of facility assets and equipment.
• Coordinate workspace modifications, relocations, and renovations.
• Lead emergency response efforts and conduct risk assessments.
• Coordinate with internal teams, first responders, and government agencies.
• Plan and conduct emergency drills; train teams on safety.
• Ensure backup power, fire suppression, and security systems function.
• Identify energy waste reduction opportunities and optimize energy use.

• Ensure proper data entry, tracking, and retrieval of maintenance records.
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety protocols.
• Ensure employees understand and follow emergency response procedures.
• Ensure availability of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other emergency resources.
• Develop and conduct HSE training sessions for employees and contractors.
• Identify potential hazards and conduct risk assessments in the workplace.
• Coordinate in conducting fire mock drill timely with H&S team
