Job summary

ELEMMENT INDIA in Thrissur, Kerala is seeking a facade design engineer with 3+ years experience to lead the shop-drawing team, draft detailed shop and fabrication drawings for curtain wall systems, and coordinate with architects, engineers and fabricators.

Candidates should hold BE / B.Tech / Diploma in relevant field, be proficient in AutoCAD, and have a solid understanding of curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and building codes. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the shop-drawing team.
• Prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings per client concept.
• 2D detailing and shop drawings for curtain wall systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and fabricators.
• Manage RFIs, markups, revisions; set timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain drawing standards, templates, and best practices.
• Design aluminum façade solutions and glazing using architectural systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and buildability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and manage the shop-drawing team
• Preparation of detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for various projects according to client’s concept design.
• 2D Detailing, Shop drawing for Unitized/Semi Unitized curtain wall.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and fabricators
• Manage RFIS, markups, and revisions efficiently Set timelines, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain drawing standards, templates, and best practices
• Designing and drafting of Aluminum Façade, Unitized, semi unitized, Windows, Doors, Skylights and Composite panel cladding using various architectural systems.
• Collaboration with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and buildability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
