Job summary

NR GROUP in Bengaluru is seeking a Facade Draftsman with 1–4 years of experience to prepare shop, fabrication and as-built drawings for facade systems. The role involves coordinating with design engineers, project managers and site teams to ensure accurate execution and approvals.

You will work on curtain walls, glazing, ACP cladding, and related metal works. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory, with the ability to read architectural, structural and facade drawings and to apply fabrication

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in facade and glazing projects.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and facade drawings.
• Knowledge of fabrication practices and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings and as-built drawings for facade systems.
• Develop drawings for curtain walls, glazing, ACP cladding, and metal works.
• Review drawings to extract required information for fabrication and installation.
• Create GA drawings, elevations and sections with accurate detailing.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers and site teams for approvals
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs and company standards.
• Assist in material take-offs and support estimating teams when needed.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision records.
• Incorporate consultant and client comments into revised drawings.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.

• The candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinating with design and project teams to ensure accurate execution of facade works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for facade systems.
• Develop drawings for:
  • Unitized Curtain Walls
  • Semi-Unitized Curtain Walls
  • Structural Glazing
  • ACP Cladding
  • Aluminium Doors & Windows
  • Spider Glazing
  • Skylights and Canopies
  • Architectural Metal Works
• Review architectural and structural drawings to extract required information.
• Prepare GA drawings, elevations, sections, and detailed connection drawings.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and site teams for drawing approvals and revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and company standards.
• Prepare material take-offs and support the estimation team when required.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision records.
• Incorporate consultant and client comments into revised drawings.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.

Required Skills
