Qualifications

• BE in Welding Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in welding & fabrication.
• Certification like CWI or CSWIP is preferred.
• Proven leadership in fabrication/manufacturing environments.
• Strong drawing literacy and welding process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage robotic and manual welding operations to ensure quality output.
• Lead welders, fabricators, and support staff; guide and mentor team.
• Plan production, prioritize jobs, and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement quality control per customer and regulatory standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to oversee and manage welding & fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Robotic Welding, Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), TIG & MIG processes, along with the ability to lead teams, ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong expertise in Robotic Welding, SAW, TIG & MIG processes
• Lead, supervise, and guide welders, fabricators, and support staff
• Oversee welding operations (robotic & manual) to ensure high-quality output
• Plan production, prioritize jobs, and ensure timely order delivery
• Implement quality control measures as per customer & regulatory standards
• Enforce safety policies and conduct regular inspections
• Manage equipment maintenance, coordinate and minimize the repairs.

Competency Required

• BE in Welding Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or related field (PG) qualification in Welding Engineering is an advantage
• 4 to 8 years of experience in welding & fabrication
• Certified Welding Inspector CWI or CSWIP certification
• Proven leadership experience in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and understanding welding processes/materials
• Good communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
