Job summary

EY in India is seeking a qualified accounting professional to join our FAAS team. The role focuses on financial accounting and reporting, GAAP conversions, and engagement delivery for UK-based and other clients.

You will work closely with audit teams and client finance functions to ensure accurate financial disclosures. The candidate should hold a CA/ACCA/CPA with 2–5 years experience, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and a solid handle on consolidation, reporting standards, and regulatory

Qualifications

• CA, ACCA (UK), or CPA required.
• 2-5 years relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, UK GAAP etc.
• Financial statement preparation and consolidation process
• GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards

Responsibilities

• Assisting in Managing engagement delivery Financial Accounting and Reporting and GAAP conversions.
• Supporting the SEC Form 10-Q/K filings of the non-accelerated filers including the audited financial statements, analysis, and disclosures, including collaboration with external auditors and internal support teams.
• Preparation and analysis of reporting data in support of disclosures for inclusion in 10-K/Q and subsidiary financial statements
• Understanding of the reporting requirements relevant to the countries allocated (specific focus on UK based companies), as allocated to your team
• Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies (e.g., guidelines of the EY FAAS Policy Manual); and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situation
