Job summary

Pasban - The Gatekeeper in Dehradun operates a boutique hotel with a multi‑cuisine restaurant and café. The F&B Assistant Manager will oversee restaurant, café, in-room dining, banquets, and events, while leading the service team and coordinating with the kitchen on menus and timing.

Ideal candidate has 5–8 years in F&B operations (2+ years in a supervisory role), a Hotel Management diploma/degree, strong POS, cost control, and inventory skills, and is fluent in English and Hindi.

• Proficiency with POS, cost control and inventory management.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of restaurant, café, in-room dining, banquets and events.
• Lead, roster and train the service team, and set floor standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen on menus, food quality and service timing.
• Drive F&B revenue through upselling, events and guest satisfaction while keeping costs, inventory and bar stock in check.
• Own SOPs, hygiene and licensing compliance, and respond to guest feedback and online reviews.

We're hiring an F&B Assistant Manager for a 29-room boutique hotel we manage in the Himalayan foothills, right where the city gives way to the hills. Colonial charm meets contemporary design here: muted tones, mountain views, garden dining under the open sky, and a multi-cuisine restaurant and café that welcome leisure travellers, families and corporate guests alike.

Pasban - The Gatekeeper is the next chapter from Akhil Anand, who scaled Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels into one of India's most respected boutique hospitality brands. We manage a growing portfolio of boutique, experiential hotels, each run on the same idea: small inventory, strong sense of place, real local food and unhurried service.

What you'll do

• Run day-to-day operations of the restaurant, café, in-room dining, banquets and events
• Lead, roster and train the service team, and set the standard on the floor
• Work closely with the kitchen on menus, food quality and service timing
• Drive F&B revenue through upselling, events and guest satisfaction while keeping costs, inventory and bar stock in check
• Own SOPs, hygiene and licensing compliance, and respond to guest feedback and online reviews

Who we're looking for

• 5-8 years in F&B operations, with at least 2 years as a supervisor, captain or assistant manager
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management
• Strong working knowledge of POS, cost control and inventory
• Fluent English and Hindi; a natural, hands-on leader
