Job summary

Shree Placement is seeking a Chartered Accountant with post-qualification experience in manufacturing to lead plant finance operations, including cost control, stock accounting and timely reporting.

The role involves coordinating audits, managing plant-related SAP entries, vendor payments and ensuring compliance with regulatory filings while supporting leadership with insightful financial reviews.

Qualifications

• CA with post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong grasp of accounting controls and costing in a plant setting.
• Experience with audits, statutory filings and SAP-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Spearheading plant finance operations and monthly closure for the Plant.
• Handling taxation and sales tax returns; ensure timely compliance.
• Prepare stock statements, scrap reports and other management reports.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Spearheading the plant finance operations for respective Plant
2. Handling plant cases / Timely filling all returns of taxation and sales tax assessment.
3. Timely submission of reports related to plant Stock statement / Scrap generation report.
4. Manage the internal & external audit.
5. Rate comparison report and issue debit note if difference.
6. Regular monitoring of manufacturing cost and sharing with leadership team and management.
7. Maintaining books of accounts and physical inventory for enabling stock matching and report to management.
8. Managing the store inventory and audit of stock/documentation of plant.
9. Co-ordinate with plant related to SAP production system /reports/ billing and all accounting activity & as per management required system.
10. Review of legal documents and submit to renewal on time.
11. Reduce / Minimize cash transaction & ensuring cost reduction in term of Store spare & consumable (in Rs).
12. Stop unnecessary excess purchases of store spare & consumable through checking six months avg. Consumptions.
13. Review of daily inward & outward material activity / Reports.
14. Review of weighment indoor and outdoor report of internal checking.
15. Co-ordinate with plant related to internal report & SAP entries.
16. Controlling of all systems and implementation related to control check as per management requirement.
17. Controlling of daily accounting activity (GR/IR clearance / Purchase Voucher checking after Miro.
18. Preparation vendor payment advice / checking six month consumption and send to H.O for plant payments.
19. Checking SAP production Entries / Store costing / Material Indenting / Store Spare and Consumable consumption.
20. Checking of salary and wages payment.
21. Making Dispatch Advice RM/FG/Scrap.
