Job summary

Accendra Health in Pune, India, seeks a Lead Developer (ACIS) to design, develop, test, and enhance complex AS400 applications. The role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to work autonomously while guiding a team of developers.

You will coordinate tasks, implement IBM iSeries solutions, integrate MQ and MOVEIT, and ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an iSeries AS400 full stack developer.
• Hands-on experience with Synon and RPG (RPG/IV).
• Solid experience designing, deploying, and supporting AS400 solutions.
• Experience with MQ integrations and external applications.
• Familiar with 2E/CM and MOVEIT change management technologies.

• Creates, enhances, and tests complex application software that operates efficiently and accurately
• Work autonomously, guide/mentor other developers in team
• Troubleshoots issues and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy of application software.
• Uses knowledge of development language(s), development procedures, structured methodologies, and computer platform(s) to complete assignments and continues to expand knowledge in these areas as needed.
• Coordinates and schedules the tasks and activities established objectives and takes appropriate action to ensure that objectives are achieved.
• Employs interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate interrelated activities with coworkers, end-users, and management.
• Reports team progress and status to project leadership and/or management.
• Provides timely status updates.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation and organization skills.
