Role Description

The Experiential Teacher will design and deliver engaging, learner-centered sessions that integrate academics, creativity, and real-world skills in an online environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning experiential lessons, facilitating interactive classes, guiding projects, and providing individualized feedback to support each learner’s growth. The role involves collaborating with program leads to align content with DoubleSpace Learning’s philosophy, using digital tools to track progress, and communicating regularly with learners and families to ensure a supportive learning experience. This is a part-time, remote role, requiring consistent availability for scheduled sessions and preparation time.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in learner-centered or experiential approaches.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing activities that connect concepts to real-world contexts.
• Effective Communication skills for engaging online instruction and clear interaction with learners and families.
• Experience in Training or mentoring learners, with the ability to adapt methods to different learning styles.
• Comfort using digital learning platforms and tools for remote teaching.
• Relevant degree in Education or a subject area, or equivalent teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, respectful learning environments for diverse learners.
• Interest in innovative, personalized education models and openness to ongoing professional learning.
