Jobgether, on behalf of a partner school, seeks a High School Virtual Math Teacher based in India. You will teach Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus to high school students in an online classroom, supporting 25–27 learners with a structured curriculum and four daily class periods.

You will monitor progress, grade assignments, and maintain records, while communicating with parents and collaborating with another virtual teacher to ensure consistency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Valid High School Mathematics teaching certification.
• At least three years of HS classroom teaching experience (excluding student teaching).
• At least two years of remote or virtual teaching experience.
• Strong ability to teach Algebra 2, Geometry and PreCalculus online.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a High School Virtual Math Teacher based in India.

Join a remote educational team dedicated to helping high school students strengthen their mathematical knowledge and achieve academic success. As a Virtual Math Teacher, you will deliver engaging instruction in Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus to students in an online classroom environment. You will support approximately 25–27 students while adapting your teaching approach to their learning needs and progress. Working alongside another virtual teacher, you will use an established curriculum to deliver structured, effective lessons. You will also monitor academic performance, grade assignments, and communicate regularly with parents about student progress. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced mathematics educator who is passionate about virtual learning and student development during the 2026–2027 school year.

Accountabilities:

• Teach Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus to high school students in a fully remote classroom.
• Deliver four class periods per day and use the provided curriculum and collaborative resources to support lesson planning and course delivery.
• Create an engaging, supportive virtual learning environment that encourages participation and helps students develop mathematical understanding.
• Monitor student performance, assess learning outcomes, grade assignments, and maintain accurate instructional records.
• Document lessons and track individual student progress to identify learning needs and areas for improvement.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, progress, and academic development.
• Collaborate with another virtual teacher to coordinate course content and maintain consistency in instruction.
• Participate in scheduled teaching and planning activities during the required weekday daytime hours.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced high school mathematics educator with a strong background in online teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a virtual classroom effectively. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Valid teaching certification in High School Mathematics.
• At least three years of high school classroom teaching experience, excluding student teaching.
• At least two years of remote or virtual teaching experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching all three required subjects: Algebra 2, Geometry, and PreCalculus.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills, including lesson records, assignment grading, and student progress reporting.
• Ability to engage students effectively in an online classroom and provide appropriate academic support.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage lesson delivery, assessment, and student documentation.
• Reliable high-speed internet access.
• A dependable computer or device equipped with a functioning camera and microphone.
• Availability Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
