Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in India to develop, validate, and maintain embedded software for vehicle E/E systems. You will participate in end-to-end activities, including model-based design, implementation, integration, and testing, while improving software processes and quality.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering or Bachelor's with substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience in embedded software development, preferably in automotive or heavy vehicles.
  • Experience with software integration and verification activities.
  • Experience working in agile or iterative environments is an advantage.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain embedded software for vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

The role will support end-to-end embedded software development activities, including model-based design, implementation, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of software development processes.

The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery that meets QDCF targets across all product development phases.

  • Experience with software integration and verification activities
  • Experience working in agile or iterative development environments is an advantage
  • Broad interest in technology, especially within the area of heavy vehicles
  • Strong intuitive and analytical ability to resolve problems
