Job summary

Little Millennium Akola is seeking an experienced preschool teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and fluent in English. The role requires strong Montessori knowledge, hands-on classroom mastery, and at least three years of teaching in a preschool setting.

You will guide 2–6 year-olds through joyful learning, collaborate with parents and staff, and uphold safety, hygiene, and inclusive practices daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
• Strong spoken and written English; ability to conduct classes primarily in English
• Formal training or certified experience in Montessori education
• Demonstrated expertise in child handling, care, and classroom management for ages 2–6
• Patience, empathy, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
• Good communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration
• Relevant early childhood education qualification (NTT, Montessori diploma, or equivalent preferred)
• Basic computer literacy for lesson planning and progress reports

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with Montessori principles and the Little Millennium curriculum
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom that supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Handle daily child care needs with patience, warmth, and professionalism (hygiene, meals, rest, transitions, and emotional support)
• Observe and document each childs progress; share constructive feedback with parents and coordinators
• Foster English language development through conversation, stories, songs, and interactive activities
• Maintain classroom order, learning materials, and a positive behavior environment
• Collaborate with co-teachers and management on events, assessments, and parent communication
• Uphold school policies on safety, attendance, and child protection at all times
