Volvo Group's Volvo Construction Equipment is looking for a hydraulic systems engineer to develop hydraulic drives and components for ICE and e-mob machines, ensuring reliability, durability and cost targets. You will lead design work and coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers worldwide.
The role demands strong knowledge of hydraulic technology, 3D/2D design, and performance evaluation, with collaboration across global teams and a focus on quality improvements.

Develop hydraulicsystemand secure QDCF in all product development phases for both ICE and e-mob machines. Develop hydraulic components to fulfill product requirements. Develop advanced hydraulic technology and continuously optimize performance, safety, efficiency, and lifespan of the machinethey'rea part of.
The developments are made in projects with close cooperation with both other departments, suppliers and own production which means a lot of contacts within the company as well as outside including international contacts.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
Hydraulic systemdevelopment to meet customer requirements including reliability & durability and cost target
Develop technical specification of hydrauliccomponents
Power matching and machine performance calculation/evaluation
Key Skills:
Designer competences –hydraulic technology(System and components development, hydraulic electrification and digitalization )
Knowledge of performance calculation and simulation
Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
MS in Hydraulic drive and control, Electro-hydraulic control, Mechatronics,Hydraulic and Pneumatic
