Job summary

Zetwerk in India is seeking a high-energy Lead Expeditor to drive on-time delivery on the shop floor. You will lead a small expediting team, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and act as the primary liaison between vendors and production management.

The role emphasizes monitoring schedules, supplier relations, data accuracy in ERP, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality to resolve shortages and keep the line moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing expediting or supply chain roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Schedule: Monitor production workflows to identify potential delays before they happen and implement immediate recovery plans.
• Lead the Team: Supervise and mentor junior expeditors, setting clear priorities and providing guidance on vendor management and internal logistics.
• Supplier Relations: Maintain constant contact with external vendors to track fabrication progress and expedite critical shipments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to resolve material shortages or technical documentation hurdles.
• Data Reporting: Maintain real-time accuracy in our ERP system and provide weekly status reports on KPIs like On-Time Delivery (OTD) and material readiness.
• Problem Solve: Proactively resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, or material specifications to keep the line moving.
