Job summary

Worley is seeking a Material Expeditor I to join our team in Pune. You will compile and maintain material and parts inventory, expedite movement between production areas, and ensure timely availability of items to support project schedules.

You will read production schedules and inventory reports, coordinate with supervisors, direct warehouse staff, verify parts and documents, and help align material flow with work orders. Minimum 4 years of experience is expected.

Purpose

The material expediter position compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas by performing the following duties.

The Role

As an Expeditor I with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Reads production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.
• Directs warehouse staff to expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production areas.
