Job Description

An Executive - Water System is responsible for coordinating the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and documentation of water-treatment and purification systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The helps ensure that water systems operate reliably and meet approved quality requirements through routine monitoring, maintenance coordination, sampling support, and compliance with applicable GMP procedures.

• Coordinate daily operation of pharmaceutical water-treatment systems.
• Monitor purified water, water-for-injection, and related systems where applicable.
• Review operating parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, and conductivity.
• Monitor water-system alarms and report abnormalities promptly.
• Coordinate routine inspection and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure water-system operation follows approved SOPs.
• Coordinate water sampling and testing with QC or Microbiology teams.
• Review water-quality results and elevate out-of-specification or unusual findings.
• Maintain water-system logbooks, operating records, and maintenance documentation.
• Monitor sanitization and disinfection schedules according to approved procedures.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, QC, Production, and Utilities teams.
• Support qualification, validation, and requalification activities.
• Monitor water-system trends and help identify recurring issues.
• Coordinate investigation of water-quality deviations and equipment failures.
• Ensure appropriate operation of storage tanks, distribution loops, pumps, and filters.
• Monitor system cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance status.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure data integrity and accurate recording of operating parameters.
• Prepare water-system performance and maintenance reports.
