IDA Foundation in Mumbai invites applications for an Executive Officer - Supply Chain Planner. The role focuses on managing end-to-end supply chain activities in line with quality and delivery requirements.
The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience, graduate or master's in Science/Commerce/Pharmacy, and proven ERP and MS Office skills. English proficiency is essential. The job is based onsite in Mumbai with growth prospects.
Managing Supply chain activity for IDA consistent with the company s requirements for quality, quantity and specifications.
Reports to the Purchase Manager
Order Management - To be a specialists in their (supplier) market, know the key cost drivers per key product, know the supplier base, the competitiveness of different suppliers per product group Ensure all Purchase Orders approved by Finance is sent to suppliers on time as per agreed SLAs. Obtaining Order confirmations from suppliers within the SLA period as agreed. Periodic follow up with suppliers, discuss orders with suppliers about the order status and ensuring order readiness as per Delivery Dates promised by suppliers. Discussing/updating HOD about supplier performance, delays /challenges and taking corrective measures to mitigate the risks. Maintaining a positive relationship suppliers, ensure all suppliers share the shipping documents within the stipulated time. Closely co-ordinate with QA department for arranging inspections and testing of samples as required. Scrutiny all documents received to ensure compliance with purchase order conditions and forward documents to Inbound Freight management team for booking the shipments. Keeping the system updated with accurate order status on a routine basis. Updating all stakeholders with accurate order status enabling them to update the Customers accordingly. Verify the Weight & Volume informations provided by suppliers (shipping documents) are accurate and matches with the Master Data and take corrective actions in case of any deviations. Ensure all suppliers upload the supply invoices within agreed time frame to ensure timely payments of the invoices.
