Job summary

ideaForge in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate order management, production planning and capacity planning to meet customer demand while optimizing resources. You will oversee schedules and ensure timely execution across teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and quality teams, you will monitor progress, drive on-time delivery, manage inventories, and implement improvements to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• Order management: project planning, scheduling, monitoring and tracking.
• Liaison with customers, production and quality teams for on-time execution.
• Production planning: develop schedules to meet demand and optimize resources.
• Capacity planning: identify bottlenecks and improve productivity with process engineering.
• Material planning: coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely materials.
• Scheduling: manage production schedules considering volume, lead time and resources.
• Inventory management: control inventory levels and minimize waste.

Job description

• Order Management – Project planning, Scheduling, Monitoring & Tracking and timely execution. Liaisoning with customers, Production, Quality teams for on time execution of orders.
• Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and implement measures along with process engineering to improve productivity.
• Material Planning: Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules, considering factors like production volume, lead time, and resource availability.
• Monitoring and Control: Track production progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth production flow.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and optimize storage.
