Responsibilities

• Designs and implements the QI plan for the Jupiter Hospital.

• Conducts QI activities in a manner that complies with regulatory and NABH and other accreditation standards.
• Educates new staff and provides ongoing educational activities to support quality activities.
• Promotes organization wide commitment to quality and serves as QI committee member.
• Coordinates events for QI activities and studies process improvements.
• Prepares and displays quality improvement reports using data.
• Shares information with Nursing Director, Medical Director and CEO.

Job Profile

• Designs and implements the QI plan for the Jupiter Hospital
• Assist in developing and implementation of standard protocols as per NABH standards.
• Conducts QI activities in a manner that complies with regulatory and NABH and other accreditation standards.
• Educates new staff and provides ongoing educational activities to support quality activities. Facilitates and promotes organization wide philosophical commitment to quality.
• Acts as member for the QI committee. Serves as the focal point of QI activities.
• Promotes and supports systems and processes to achieve safe, cost effective, high quality healthcare.
• Reviews, tracks and trends employee/visitor / patient incident reports.
• Coordinates events for QI activities. Provides guidance to the activities of quality improvement.
• Uses collaborative efforts and teams to study and improve specific existing processes.
• Coordinates the activities of process improvement teams. Coordinates team efforts to monitor and evaluate patient care
• Prepares and displays quality improvement reports and activities utilizing data in a meaningful format. Tabulates aggregates, summarizes and displays pertinent data.
• Develops complete, timely reliable reports. Shares information with appropriate staff, including reports to the Nursing Director, Medical Director, Chief Executive Officer and the Directors.
• Submits QI reports and minutes to the various Committees for review at their meetings.
• Promote process improvement for the ongoing prevention and reduction of risk.
