Job summary

Flex in Pune is seeking an Executive – Program Management to support global product programs and drive on-time delivery.

You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage ERP-based PM processes (Baan/SAP), and develop key program metrics.

The role requires a engineering/management degree and 4–5 years in manufacturing program management, including 3 years with Flex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Management or equivalent.
• 4–5 years’ experience in manufacturing program management; 3+ years with Flex.
• Strong understanding of program management concepts and product lifecycle phases.
• Experience with ERP tools (Baan) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on program management reports within offshore Center (GBS) and Site Customer Focus Team.
• Oversee and coordinate program activities with all inter-departments to ensure deliverable commitments.
• Manage confidential data and track metrics to drive actions in GBS and Site Customer Focus Team.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, coordination, and customer management skills.
• Document program activities and apply ERP knowledge (Baan/SAP) for PM roles; weekend work as required.

GBS program Management vertical support Program Manager’s, by virtual customer focus team member to support program management activities.

What a typical day looks like:

Coordinate and follow up on several program management reports within offshore Center (Global Business Services - GBS) & Site Customer Focus Team. Oversee/ Coordinates program activities with all inter-departments ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to agreed deliverable. Handles data of a highly confidential and critical in nature. Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results within GBS / SITE Customer Focus Team. Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills & Customer Management Skill. Lead and drive the activities and ensure timely accurate delivery of our services. Good with documentation skills at various stages of Program. Excellent understanding on Program Management concepts, New Product Introduction / New Product Development / different phases of Product life cycle Basic understanding /knowhow on the financial terms/ INCO Terms and its impact on the Profit & Loss on the business Excellent understanding on customer focus team role in managing the customer Hands on experience on using the ERP tool like BaaN/ SAP for PM role. Flexible to work on weekends based on site requirements.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree from Engineering / Management or equivalent
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience from Manufacturing Industry in Program Management Domain and at least 3 years’ experience within Flex.
• Excellent understanding on Program Management concepts, Claims Management / AR Management / Order Management phases of Product life cycle
• Basic understanding /know how on the financial terms/ INCO Terms and its impact on the Profit & Loss on the business
• Excellent understanding on customer focus team role in managing the customer.
• Hands on experience on using the ERP tools like Baan for PM role.
• Excellent knowledge on using tools like MS Excel, Power Point etc.
• Knowledge of MS -Project will be added advantage
• Basic understanding on office Automation or automation through Excel will be added advantage.
