Job summary

Abbott in India (Baddi) is seeking a manufacturing professional to support GMP/GxP compliant production. The role involves ensuring line clearance, in-process checks, BMR alignment, and QA-guided documentation while training staff on shop floor activities.

Responsibilities include handling SAP transactions, achieving monthly targets, and coordinating with QA for investigations, SOP adherence, and safe manufacturing practices in a high-standard facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP/GxP manufacturing environments.
• Ability to train subordinates on shop floor.
• Knowledge of BMR, PV protocols and SOPs.
• Capable of line clearance and in-process checks.
• Strong documentation and deviation investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle various transactions in SAP.

• Maintain QMS documents and provide GxP training to staff on the shop floor.
• Distribute work and manage manpower efficiently; monitor alarm management as per SOP.
• Check/verify machine operation and process parameters per equipment SOP and BMR.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and Abbott QA guidelines and Good Documentation Practices.
• Investigate exceptions or non-conformances and prepare investigation reports.
• Prepare, review and execute commercial batches and PV/BMR documents.
• Carry out line clearance and in-process checks at different stages.
• Ensure ISOtrain SOP training and upload SOPs as needed.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To handle various transaction in SAP.
• Responsible for achieving monthly target of production department.
• Handling of QMS documents, impart training to subordinates in manufacturing area on shop floor for GxP activities.
• Work distribution and optimum utilization of manpower. Alarm Identification and management as per SOP.
• To ensure all in-process checks and monitoring of all intermediate processes, to check set process parameters in PLC/SCADA as per BMR before machine run in manufacturing area.
• Ensure compliance of all procedure, practices and system to cGMP with respect to Abbott Quality guideline, other applicable regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures at site. Ensure that Good Documentation Practices shall comply during the production process.
• To check/ review/verify operation of manufacturing machine as per respective equipment operation SOP.
• Provide input and guidance to improve the right first time of the production batch/ batch documents. Preparation, review of protocol and report (Technical/ Study/ Non-routine) on need basis.
• To identify the problems with the machine and undertake trouble shooting activity where required, upkeep the change parts, to ensure work is carried in the Manufacturing section according to the SOPs, to coordinate with departmental colleagues, HOD & QA in cases of any discrepancies in manufacturing Section.
• Responsible for investigation of exception/ non-compliance in the manufacturing area, preparation and review of investigation report. Review of standard operating procedure, master documents of production and batch document etc.
• Preparation, review and execution of commercial batch, PV protocol/ BMR.
• Dispensing and manufacturing process compliance in accordance with approved BMR.
• To carry out line clearance, In-Process checks at the different stages of manufacturing.
• SOP training in ISOtrain of self-train within stipulated times and to ensure no past due training.
• SOP preparation and upload in Darius as per need.
• To follow all the practices related to safety and COBC.
• To support the team on additional responsibilities assigned time to time.
