Rehlko Energy India Private Limited is seeking an Executive-Procurement to lead the local supplier base for sheet metal, fabrication, stampings, rubber, plastic and tubular components, ensuring cost-effective, timely and high-quality supply to support factory needs.
The role requires 5–7 years in procurement with Graduate Engineering; MBA is an added advantage, and SAP experience is preferred. The position is based at the Engine Assembly Plant and involves travel to suppliers as needed.

Responsible for strategic supply base development, including on-site supplier assessments. Quality and productivity improvements at existing suppliers. Assesses new potential suppliers and deploys standardized supplier quality management systems. Responsibilities:Identify new suppliers in alignment with new product performance requirements; actively participate in sourcing decisions and having supplier reviews with Program and Commodity Teams. Develop a new source/resourcing from existing vendor Accountable for maintaining 95% On time delivery of parts for category he/she owns Commercials/price settlement and detail cost review with suppliers. Knowledge on should cost and zero-base costing. Should have a good experience in specific category of sheet metal, fabrication, stampings rubber, plastic and tubular component development from commercial point of view Track and monitor supplier performance and determine development steps as needed. Complete on-site supplier assessments and control plan audits. Follow up to open action items. Support global purchasing needs during supplier transitions, supplier rationalization and localization programs. Support commodity and project management teams for resourcing activitiesSupport major internal and new customer projects. Supports purchasing cost saving & VA/VE activitiesSupports the overseas Plants as assigned to help resolve local supplier issues.
Supplier capacity mapping/evaluation to support Rehlko’s growth in local and overseas market. Collaborate with planning, quality, engineering, and logistics to resolve supplier performance issues. Ensure timely delivery of material and services by coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Proven experience in supplier development and cross-functional collaboration. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Full understanding of the product within the product group Basic understanding of supplier and material market situation (material price, competition, risks) Good understanding of the Purchasing Process and commercial deals Travelling to key suppliers 40% of time.
Qualification: Graduate Engineering with Experience in Purchasing/Supply chain & production planning. MBA degree would be an added advantage.Knowledge : IT skills, including Excel, must have experience with an integrated purchasing system, such as an SAP. Experience in collecting and analyzing data. Daily Production Log. Experience in functional areas of Operations, including Planning, Purchasing, Distribution. Knowledge of manufacturing processes especially for Engine parts. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communications skills. Ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures. Experience: Mechanical/Production Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement/supply chain management. Experience in procurement from domestic & import suppliers with experience of subcontracting.
