Job summary

Policybazaar for Business in Gurgaon is seeking an Executive – EB Issuance to manage end-to-end policy issuance activities within defined TATs. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and insurer teams, ensure accuracy in policy issuance and data validation, resolve queries, and maintain high-quality operational standards.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple cases with proactive follow-up to insurers for timely closures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations, Employee Benefits, policy issuance, or related operations role.
• Experience working with insurer teams and internal business stakeholders preferred.
• Good understanding of insurance operations and policy issuance processes.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Executive – EB Issuance to manage end-to-end policy issuance activities within defined TATs. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with internal stakeholders and insurer teams, ensuring accuracy in policy issuance and data validation, resolving queries, and maintaining high-quality operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end policy issuance activities within defined TATs.
• Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and insurer teams for smooth and timely issuance processing.
• Ensure timely resolution of issuance-related queries, discrepancies, and escalations.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, insurers, and internal teams.
• Handle confidential customer and policy information responsibly and maintain data privacy.
• Ensure accuracy and quality in policy issuance, documentation, and data validation.
• Perform Quality Checks (QC) to identify and rectify errors before policy issuance.
• Analyse issuance-related data and prepare MIS/reports using MS Excel.
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Excel, including:
• Basic Formulas
• Data Validation
• Data Sorting & Filtering
• Draft professional and clear emails and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain proper tracking of assigned cases and ensure timely closure.
• Follow up proactively with insurers and internal stakeholders on pending cases.
• Take complete ownership and accountability for assigned cases and deliverables.
• Adhere to defined operational processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Quickly adapt to new processes, tools, systems, and business requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Candidates with experience in Group Health, Group Personal Accident, Group Term Life, or Employee Benefits insurance will have an added advantage.
