Job summary

Sun Pharma in India is seeking an Executive in Packaging Development to lead packaging design, labeling artwork, and artwork finalization for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, ensuring regulatory alignment across US FDA, EU, and India.

Responsibilities

• Packaging & Labeling Design: Create and finalize artwork for primary, secondary, and tertiary pharma packaging.
• Design labels, cartons, blister packs, leaflets, IFUs, and device graphics.
• Ensure designs meet pharma regulatory standards (US FDA, EU, India).
• Collaborate with Packaging Development and Regulatory Affairs to include mandatory text and claims.
• Marketing & Brand Communication: develop assets for digital and print marketing; ensure brand consistency.
• Prepare print-ready files with die-lines, color codes, barcodes, and specs; manage revisions and GDP adherence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Packaging, Marketing, QA, RA, Production, Vendors).

Job Description:

1. Packaging & Labeling Design

Create and finalize artwork for primary, secondary, and tertiary pharma packaging.

Design labels, cartons, blister packs, leaflets, IFUs, and device graphics.

Ensure all designs align with pharma regulatory standards (US FDA, EU, India, etc., as applicable).

Work closely with Packaging Development and Regulatory Affairs teams to incorporate mandatory text, warnings, and claims.

2. Marketing & Brand Communication

Develop creative assets for digital and print marketing: Cartons, Medication Guide, Outserts, inserts, labels, IFU

Maintain visual consistency across all company brands and product lines.

Prepare print‑ready files with accurate die-lines, color codes, barcodes, and technical specifications.

Manage version control, artwork revisions, and approval cycles.

Ensure adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams: Packaging, Marketing, QA, RA, Production, and Vendors.
